Restaurants Care Resilience Grant Opportunities start this Sunday (4/11), up to $3,500

The Restaurants Care Resilience Fund provides cash grants of up to $3,500 and a year of support to small restaurants in 8 counties in California. The grants are open to restaurants in Los Angeles County with fewer than 50 employees and priority will be given to restaurants owned by women and people of color.
* Eligible counties: Alameda, Fresno, Kern, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco or San Joaquin. |

California Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program Application available until January 13, 2021

The Governor announced the creation of a $500 million COVID Relief Grant for small businesses that have been impacted by COVID and the health and safety restrictions. Funds would be awarded in amounts up to $25,000 to underserved micro and small businesses throughout the state by early 2021. Non-profits would also be eligible for these grants.

The Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce announced a new Small Business grant from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. The Foundation set up a new Save Small Business Fund in partnership with Vistaprint and a coalition of supporting companies, foundations and donors. Unfortunately, the Small Business Grant is no longer accepting applications due to the large number of applicants on the opening day, April 20, 2020.

- The fund is providing $5,000 in short-term relief to employers across the country. These one-time supplemental cash grants are for businesses that have between three and 20 employees and operate in an economically vulnerable community.
- The grant application will go live on April 20 at 12:00 p.m. PST.
