FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION
Los Angeles, CA – The Korean American Coalition is pleased to announce the 39th National College Leadership Conference (NCLC) will commence on June 17-21, 2019 at Pepperdine University. NCLC has brought together young leaders in a fun, dynamic, exceptional Korean American teaching experience since 1980.
NCLC welcomes students into a community of current and future Korean American pioneers in a variety of career fields, including those of government, finance, non-profit, art, technology, law, medicine, entertainment, and many more. NCLC is an excellent opportunity for young Korean Americans to meet established professionals in their field of interest, learn essential leadership skills to assist them in their future professions, and make friends of other bright, ambitious Korean Americans.
“NCLC gave me the opportunity to connect with an incredibly diverse group of Korean American peers, granting me a sense of solidarity I never knew I craved. Most importantly, NCLC provided the space for me to unpack my Korean Americanness, and define that identity for myself.” - Audrey Jang, Pomona
The NCLC Opening Ceremony will be on Monday, June 17 at 5:00 PM. The Korean American Coalition will welcome KAC Founder and Attorney, Duncan D. Lee, Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Los Angeles, Wan-Joong Kim, Special Guest of the Korean Consulate, Dr. Ki-Jung Kim Professor in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Yonsei University, and Joseph Jun, Former Lawyer and Documentary Filmmaker at the event.
