The Koreatown Community won a tremendous victory as the LA County Board of Supervisors unanimously agreed to include a 12,500 square feet Koreatown Arts & Recreation Center (KARC) "Community Center" within the Vermont Corridor Project. KAC-LA and ten other non-profit organizations were present to advocate on behalf of Koreatown for this community center, which is expected to become Koreatown's landmark. We did it!
