KAC works in conjunction with government agencies and community organizations to promote civic engagement. By removing systemic and linguistic barriers, KAC serves to enhance access and representation for the Korean American community.
U.S. Citizenship
As part of enhancing political participation among Korean Americans, KAC provides Citizenship application, Green Card renewal, and other immigration services to applicable citizens at an affordable cost. Since 1983, KAC has assisted more than 40,000 people with their naturalization process and stands as one of the longest continuously running Korean American organizations to provide such services. Voter RegistrationKAC first began conducting voter registration drives in the City of Los Angeles. Today, KAC operates the longest continuously running civic participation program in the Korean American community, dedicated to advocating for equal access and representation. KAC has assisted over 40,000 immigrants to become U.S. citizens and registered voters.
