KAC is partnering with Kollaboration to promote the Tenth Anniversary of the Kollaboration showcase, the premier talent show for Asian Americans in the U.S. First founded because of the stereotypical characterization of Americans of Asian and Pacific Islander descent as "foreigners" and "model minorities," Kollaboration seeks to encourage and disseminate the diverse and incredible talents of the API community. Paul "PK" Kim, Founder and Executive Director of Kollaboration, as well as a former KAC staff member, announced that comedians Rex Navarette and Tony Rock, as well as sensational dance crew We Are Heroes (winners of America's Best Dance Crew) as well as rappers Pigeon John and Voodoo Soul will be special guest performers.
