KAC to Hold Destination: Real Life College Career Conference
KAC and State Farm Insurance will hold a career conference for college students entitled Destination: Real Life on Saturday, February 27, from 2-5 pm at USC's Seeley G. Mudd building, Room 123. Parking is available at Parking Structure A accessible through the campus entrance at Jefferson and McClintock.
Divided into two parts, the first half will be a crash course in real-world personal finance, a session to find out the difference between an IRA and a Roth IRA, to figure out how to create a budget for your professional life, and to gain insights into how to properly manage a credit card and build credit, among many other things. This session will be presented by financial professionals.
The second half of the conference will be a serious of tabling sessions with professionals from a variety of fields ready to offer expert, no-holds-barred advice and insight into the day-to-day aspects of their careers. Listed below is a partial list of panelists:
