KAC will host the Fifteenth Annual Legislative Reception on Friday, November 13, 2009, from 5 to 7 pm on the seventh-floor Sky Deck at The Solair (3785 Wilshire Boulevard).

The Legislative Reception provides a forum for community leaders and elected officials to discuss issues and interests relevant to the Korean American community. The Luncheon provides an opportunity for legislators to meet with members of the Korean American community and its leaders to share and exchange dialogue on common concerns.

Attendees of last KAC's 2008 Legislative Reception included Korean Consul General Jae Soo Kim, Congressman Adam Schiff, then California Board of Equalization Member and now Congresswoman Judy Chu, Assemblymember Mike Eng, Los Angeles County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky, then-L.A. City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo, L.A. City Councilwoman Jan Perry.

Tickets for the event are $35. KAC members may attend this event free of charge; an RSVP is required.
