Kimjongilia to be Screened at the Museum of Tolerance
You are cordially invited to attend a free screening of the documentary Kimjongilia at 7 pm on Tuesday, October 27 at the Museum of Tolerance.
Kimjongilia is a 73 minute, in-depth investigation into the lives and stories of North Korean defectors. The persecution and hardships suffered by these defectors are highlighted through intimate interviews and interpretive modern dance pieces. These interviews are interspersed with an impressive array of North Korean propaganda and footage. Through the faces and voices of these talbukjas (defectors), Kimjongilia offers honest insight into the brutal reality confronted by many North Koreans today.
KAC has been working with Director N.C. Heiken to promote this film shedding light on the hundreds of thousands languishing under the current totalitarian regime.
A reservation is required to attend the screening. Please call the Museum of Tolerance to RSVP: 310.772.2498. The Museum is located at 9786 West Pico Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90035. There is free underground parking at the Museum.
